Getting Started

Creating an Account

Sign up using Google or Microsoft Teams. Once registered, you can start tracking your runs and accessing AI-powered coaching features.

Connecting Strava

Connect your Strava account to automatically sync your running activities. Go to Settings → Strava Sync to connect. You can disconnect at any time.

Uploading Running Form Videos

Navigate to the AI Analysis page to upload videos of your running form. Our AI will analyze your technique and provide personalized feedback.

How does the AI analysis work?

Our AI analyzes your running form videos using advanced computer vision and machine learning. It evaluates your posture, stride, cadence, and other biomechanical factors to provide personalized coaching feedback.

What data does RunCoach collect from Strava?

When you connect Strava, we sync your activity data (distance, pace, duration, etc.) and can fetch detailed stream data (heart rate, cadence, elevation) when you request it. We only access data you explicitly authorize and comply with Strava's API terms.

Can I delete my account?

Yes, you can delete your account at any time through Settings. This will permanently delete your account and all associated data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal purposes.

How do I disconnect Strava?

Go to Settings → Strava Sync and click "Disconnect Strava". This will stop syncing new activities, but previously synced data will remain in your account unless you delete it.

Is my data secure?

Yes, we use industry-standard security measures including encryption, secure authentication, and regular security audits. See our Privacy Policy for more details.

Can I export my data?

Yes, you can request a copy of your data at any time. Contact us through the support form below, and we'll provide your data in a standard format within 30 days.

Troubleshooting

Strava sync not working

  • Check that your Strava account is still connected in Settings
  • Try disconnecting and reconnecting your Strava account
  • Ensure you've granted the necessary permissions to RunCoach
  • Check if Strava's service is operational

Video upload issues

  • Ensure your video is in a supported format (MP4, MOV, AVI)
  • Check that the file size is under 100MB
  • Try uploading from a different browser or device
  • Clear your browser cache and try again

Analysis taking too long

AI analysis typically takes 1-3 minutes depending on video length and server load. If it's taking longer, try refreshing the page or contact support if the issue persists.
